The main task of the research center is to engage in basic research and applied research in various fields such as natural sciences, humanities and social sciences. In addition, it undertakes the following tasks: promotion of scientific research results and personnel training, tracking and analysis of domestic and international scientific and technological situations and development trends, and participation. The formulation of the government's science and technology policy and scientific research plan provides large-scale scientific research equipment for the national science and technology community. Over the years, the French Research Center has been involved in the formulation of the French National Science and Technology Development General Policy. It has maintained close and close cooperation with 190 institutions of higher learning and universities. Three-quarters of its laboratories are located in these universities and universities. The research center provides research funding for these collaborative laboratories or collaborative research groups or collaborative individuals. In fact, half of the French National Research Centres work in universities, and they use the large equipment of higher education institutions to benefit from the university through collaboration in relevant laboratories outside the French National Research Center.
